Ingredients

  • 8 oz (225 g) feta cheese
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, plus extra for drizzling
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Warm pita bread, for serving

Optional Substitutions:

  • Greek yogurt → sour cream or labneh for extra creaminess
  • Olive oil → flavored olive oil for a twist

Instructions

  • In a food processor, combine feta cheese, Greek yogurt, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest.

  • Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping the sides if needed.

  • Transfer to a serving bowl, drizzle with extra olive oil, and sprinkle with black pepper.
