Description

Elegant Whipped Feta & Roasted Pear Tapas with Walnuts bring together creamy, savory cheese, caramelized pears, and a drizzle of honey for a stunning appetizer that’s both simple and sophisticated.

Ingredients

Scale

2 ripe pears, sliced

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp honey

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

1 cup feta cheese, crumbled

1/4 cup Greek yogurt (plain)

1 tbsp lemon juice

2 tbsp honey (for feta whip)

1/4 cup chopped walnuts, toasted

Fresh thyme leaves for garnish

Crackers or toasted baguette slices for serving

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a small baking tray with parchment paper.

2. Toss pear slices with olive oil, honey, and cinnamon. Spread evenly on the tray.

3. Roast for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and slightly caramelized.

4. Meanwhile, in a food processor, blend feta, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and honey until smooth and creamy.

5. Toast walnuts in a small dry pan over medium heat for 2–3 minutes, stirring often.

6. Spread a spoonful of whipped feta on crackers or baguette slices.

7. Top each with a roasted pear slice and sprinkle with toasted walnuts.

8. Drizzle lightly with extra honey and garnish with fresh thyme leaves before serving.

Notes

Use ripe but firm pears for the best caramelization.

For a tangier twist, add a touch of orange zest to the feta whip.

This recipe can easily be doubled for a party appetizer spread.

Pairs beautifully with herbal tea or sparkling water with lemon.
