Description

A cozy-meets-fancy flatbread layered with ripe pear, gooey Brie, tangy cranberry sauce, sweet fig jam, and a balsamic glaze drizzle. It’s everything you want in a sweet-savory bite—crisp, creamy, and oh-so satisfying in under 30 minutes. Perfect for a weeknight treat or a party showstopper.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pre-made flatbread or pizza crust
  • 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
  • 4 oz Brie cheese, sliced
  • ½ cup cranberry sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fig jam
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • Fresh arugula (optional)
  • Olive oil, for brushing
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Place the flatbread on a baking sheet and brush it lightly with olive oil.

  3. Spread the fig jam evenly across the surface.

  4. Arrange the pear slices evenly over the jam.

  5. Distribute Brie slices over the pears.

  6. Dollop cranberry sauce across the top.

  7. Season lightly with salt and pepper.

  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the Brie is melty and the crust edges are golden.

  9. Remove from the oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze.

  10. Top with fresh arugula, if using, and serve warm.

Notes

• For extra crispiness, preheat a pizza stone or bake directly on the oven rack.
• No fig jam? Try honey, apricot preserves, or a little maple syrup.
• Use a room-temperature Brie for easier melting and spreading.
• Optional: Add a pinch of thyme or chopped walnuts for added flavor and texture.
• Works great with gluten-free or cauliflower flatbread if needed.
