Description

Pear & Blue Cheese Flatbread with Walnut-Honey Drizzle is the ultimate mix of sweet, salty, and crunchy. Juicy pears, melty blue cheese, toasted walnuts, and a drizzle of honey come together on crisp flatbread in just 20 minutes. Elegant enough for guests, but easy enough for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 flatbreads or naan (about 200 g total)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (30 ml)
  • 2 ripe pears (about 300 g), thinly sliced
  • 3 oz blue cheese (85 g), crumbled
  • ¼ cup walnuts (30 g), toasted and chopped
  • 2 tbsp honey (30 ml)
  • Fresh thyme leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment if you’d like easy cleanup.

  • Place flatbreads on the baking sheet and brush with olive oil.

  • Arrange pear slices evenly across the flatbreads.

  • Sprinkle crumbled blue cheese generously over the pears.

  • Bake for 8–10 minutes, until flatbreads are crisp and cheese has softened.

  • Remove from oven, drizzle with honey, and top with toasted walnuts and thyme leaves.

  • Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • Swap pears with apples if that’s what you have.

  • Goat cheese or feta can replace blue cheese for a milder flavor.

  • Pecans or almonds are great walnut alternatives.

  • Best eaten fresh, but you can reheat slices in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5–6 minutes.
