Description
Pear & Blue Cheese Flatbread with Walnut-Honey Drizzle is the ultimate mix of sweet, salty, and crunchy. Juicy pears, melty blue cheese, toasted walnuts, and a drizzle of honey come together on crisp flatbread in just 20 minutes. Elegant enough for guests, but easy enough for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 2 flatbreads or naan (about 200 g total)
- 2 tbsp olive oil (30 ml)
- 2 ripe pears (about 300 g), thinly sliced
- 3 oz blue cheese (85 g), crumbled
- ¼ cup walnuts (30 g), toasted and chopped
- 2 tbsp honey (30 ml)
- Fresh thyme leaves, for garnish
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment if you’d like easy cleanup.
Place flatbreads on the baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
Arrange pear slices evenly across the flatbreads.
Sprinkle crumbled blue cheese generously over the pears.
Bake for 8–10 minutes, until flatbreads are crisp and cheese has softened.
Remove from oven, drizzle with honey, and top with toasted walnuts and thyme leaves.
Slice and serve warm.
Notes
Swap pears with apples if that’s what you have.
Goat cheese or feta can replace blue cheese for a milder flavor.
Pecans or almonds are great walnut alternatives.
Best eaten fresh, but you can reheat slices in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5–6 minutes.
