A block of feta drizzled with golden olive oil takes center stage, surrounded by olives, crisp cucumber, juicy cherry tomatoes, smoky peppers, and crunchy nuts. Serve it up with warm pita or crackers, and you’ve got a vibrant appetizer (or even a light dinner) that feels like a little trip to the Mediterranean coast.


Ingredients

  • 200g feta cheese block, drizzled with olive oil and herbs
  • 1 cup assorted olives (green & Kalamata)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • ½ cup roasted red peppers
  • ¼ cup marinated artichoke hearts
  • ¼ cup toasted almonds or walnuts
  • Fresh basil or oregano sprigs for garnish
  • Warm pita bread or crackers, for serving

Instructions

  1. Place the feta block in the center of a serving board or platter.

  2. Drizzle with good-quality olive oil and sprinkle with fresh herbs.

  3. Arrange olives, cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, roasted peppers, and artichoke hearts around the feta.

  4. Scatter the toasted nuts across the board for crunch.

  5. Garnish with fresh sprigs of basil or oregano.

  6. Serve right away with warm pita bread or crackers for dipping and pairing.

  • For best flavor, use feta sold in brine—it’s creamier and saltier than pre-crumbled versions.
