Ingredients
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp hot honey (plus more for drizzling)
- 1 large ball burrata cheese
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Toasted baguette slices or flatbread, for serving
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Toss cherry tomatoes with olive oil, garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, pepper, and balsamic vinegar in a small baking dish.
Roast for 18–20 minutes until tomatoes are blistered and juicy.
Remove from oven, gently stir in hot honey. Nestle the burrata ball in the center.
Return to oven for 5 minutes until burrata softens and begins to melt.
Drizzle with extra hot honey and garnish with fresh basil.
Serve immediately with toasted bread or flatbread.
Notes
Adjust crushed red pepper flakes to control heat level.
Substitute hot honey with chili-infused honey or honey mixed with cayenne pepper.
Burrata can be swapped with fresh mozzarella or stracciatella cheese if preferred.
For gluten-free options, serve with vegetable sticks or gluten-free crackers.
Best served fresh but can be reheated gently if needed.
