Description
Hot Honey Tomato Burrata Dip is the kind of appetizer that makes everyone stop mid-conversation. Roasted cherry tomatoes bring a burst of sweetness, the burrata melts into creamy richness, and a drizzle of hot honey ties it all together with a sweet-spicy kick. It’s effortless, elegant, and perfect for dipping with crusty bread or crackers.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 ball burrata cheese
- 2 teaspoons hot honey
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
- Crackers or toasted bread, for serving
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Toss cherry tomatoes with olive oil, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet.
Roast for 15–20 minutes until the tomatoes are soft and slightly caramelized.
Transfer roasted tomatoes to a shallow serving dish and gently nestle the burrata in the center.
Drizzle hot honey over the burrata and tomatoes.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
Serve warm with crackers or toasted bread for dipping.
Notes
Want it milder? Cut back on the red pepper flakes and just let the hot honey carry the heat.
For extra flavor, toss the tomatoes with a pinch of dried oregano or a minced garlic clove before roasting.
This dip is best enjoyed immediately while warm, but leftover tomatoes can be stored in the fridge and used on toast or pasta the next day.
