  • 1 ½ lbs (700g) beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • For the Mezze Platter:
  • 1 cup hummus
  • 1 cup tzatziki
  • ½ cup Kalamata olives
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup crumbled feta cheese
  • Warm pita or flatbread, cut into wedges
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish
  • For the Lemon Drizzle:
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • Pinch of salt & black pepper

Instructions

  • Marinate the beef: In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Toss beef slices until evenly coated. Let marinate at least 30 minutes.

  • Cook the beef: Heat a grill pan or skillet over high heat. Cook beef slices 2–3 minutes per side until seared and cooked to your liking. Work in batches if needed.

  • Prepare the lemon drizzle: Whisk olive oil, lemon juice, honey, salt, and pepper in a small bowl until smooth and glossy.

  • Assemble the platter: Arrange hummus, tzatziki, olives, cucumber, tomatoes, onion, feta, and pita on a large serving board. Place cooked beef slices on top.

 

  • Finish and serve: Drizzle beef with lemon sauce, garnish with fresh parsley, and enjoy immediately.
