Ingredients
- 1 flatbread or pizza crust
- 1 large apple, thinly sliced (I like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 100g feta cheese, crumbled
- ½ cup walnuts, roughly chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Place the flatbread on a baking sheet.
Drizzle olive oil evenly over the flatbread.
Layer the apple slices evenly over the top.
Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese across the apples.
Scatter the chopped walnuts over everything.
Bake for 12-15 minutes until the flatbread is crispy and the feta softens slightly.
While baking, mix honey with chopped rosemary in a small bowl.
Once out of the oven, drizzle the rosemary honey over the flatbread.
Season with salt and pepper to taste, slice, and enjoy warm!
Notes
For extra crunch, toast the walnuts lightly before adding.
Feel free to swap walnuts for pecans or almonds.
Use goat cheese or blue cheese if you want a different flavor profile.
Add fresh arugula or baby spinach on top after baking for a peppery bite.
To keep it vegan, swap feta for a plant-based cheese and use maple syrup instead of honey.
